Driver Instruction Course:
RE: “AR” TRAINING COURSE

This is an outline for our “AR” training Course. It will inform you of the entrance requirements and pre-requisites, details of the course curriculum, tuition fees and any additional costs.

Must have a full “G” license not “G2″ and be 18 years or older.

Ontario Truck Driving School is a registered

Private Career College. We issue T2202A Tax Receipts.

In addition to our course tuition, applicants are responsible for the following additional items:

An Ontario medical completed by a doctor
The Truck Driver’s Handbook (needed to study for the beginner’s licence written test at the Drive Test Centre)

The written class A beginners permit (this includes the road test fee).

The “AR” Training program is 10 hours in total. The curriculum consists of:
In Vehicle & Yard :
10 Hours of training to teach you to competently handle this vehicle in the city and on the highway, vehicle maintenance and backing training, as well as the daily inspections required for operation.

Road Test – Once qualified, students will use our equipment for the licencing road test.

Note: If a student does not pass their first licencing road test attempt, they are required to pay the re-test fee to the Drive Test Centre before another test can be booked. There would also be an additional fee to use the OTDS vehicle for each additional road test attempt.
This fee must be paid to the OTDS office when the re-test is booked.
