<li>Preparation of outgoing deliveries including generating invoices, loading and sorting of shipments</li>
<li>Key interface to customers, suppliers, and other operating centers for product movement</li>
<li>Adherence to all material handling and product integrity guidelines as well as all Health &amp; Safety policies and procedures</li>
<li>Maintaining a safe, clean and organized warehouse</li>
<li>Ensuring the safe delivery of bulk product to our client’s fleet, heavy equipment, generators, or bulk tanks within a designated area</li>

We are currently hiring for a full-time DZ driver to carry out deliveries locally, into the GTA, and Burlington area, as well as act as contingency to carry out runs to our US customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a truck, transporting goods and materials over land. Our team travel between retail, distributions centers, manufacturing plants and in some cases, growers. Hours of operations for drivers are standardly during daytime hours, however, some evenings and Saturdays may be required on an as-needed basis. This role is important to Floral Express as it directly supports the logistical operations.</p>
<p><strong>Physical/Mental Demands</strong><br />

· Ability to handle stress, as this role can at times be highly stressful<br />

Positions containers on the customer’s property in a manner that ensures lids are properly replaced, containers are set in an upright position, and containers do not block driveway entrances or traffic.<br />
Follows route assignments throughout the day and completes all documentation when checking-in at the end of the route.<br />

Signaler immédiatement les situations dangereuses ou les problèmes liés au service au superviseur de route ou au Dispatch.<br />
Participer à tous les programmes de formation, breffages et réunions programmés requis par Waste Management.<br />

Notifies Dispatch or Route Manager of issues as prescribed by Service Machine protocol, including blocked containers, potential missed pick-ups or problems that arise on the route.<br />
Communicates customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Route Manager.<br />
Completely dumps all containers and leaves the customer’s location clean and free of debris.<br />
Completes and submits customer tickets when excess yardage must be removed.<br />
Positions containers on the customer’s property in a manner that ensures lids are properly replaced, containers are set in an upright position, and containers do not block driveway entrances or traffic.<br />
Follows route assignments throughout the day and completes all documentation when checking-in at the end of the route.<br />

Legally eligible to work in Canada.<br />
Hold a current Class 5 license or higher with an air-brake endorsement<br />
Acceptable driving record required.<br />
