Description de l’emploi :

Conduit (en toute sécurité) un camion lourd pour effectuer les tâches assignées sur les routes transfert. Tâches et responsabilités essentielles :Pour réaliser ce travail avec succès, une personne doit être en mesure d’exécuter de manière satisfaisante les tâches et responsabilités suivantes:

Conduire le véhicule conformément aux règles de sécurité et de vie essentielles de la gestion des déchets. Exigences en matière de santé et de sécurité au travail (SST) et DOT (ministère des Transports) ainsi que toutes les lois municipales, provinciales et fédérales.
Effectuer des inspections avant et après le voyage de l’équipement attribué et vérifie les documents sur le DVIR standard (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report.).
Signaler immédiatement les situations dangereuses ou les problèmes liés au service au superviseur de route ou au Dispatch.
Participer à tous les programmes de formation, breffages et réunions programmés requis par Waste Management.
Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les gestionnaires de routes pour améliorer l’efficacité des routes et identifier les meilleures pratiques.
Aviser le superviseur de route de tout incident, accident, blessure ou dommage matériel.
Identifier et signaler tous les conteneurs nécessitant une réparation ou un remplacement
Suivre les affectations d’itinéraire comme indiqué et complète la documentation de fin de journée et le processus de vérification.

A. Éducation et expérience

• Expérience: 1 an d’expérience de travail pertinente dans la conduite d’un véhicule nécessitant un permis de classe 3 ou supérieur

B. Certificats, licences, enregistrements ou autres exigences

• Détenir une licence de classe 3 ou supérieure avec une mention de frein à air.

• Réussir la vérification des antécédents médicaux et des antécédents médicaux avant l’embauche, qui comprendra une vérification de l’emploi, des antécédents criminels et un examen du dossier de véhicule à moteur.

C. Autres connaissances, compétences ou aptitudes requises

• Dossier de conduite acceptable requis.

• Bonne compétence de communication de français

Pay: $31.23 – $33.80 an hour

I. Job Summary
Safely operates a heavy-duty truck to perform assigned duties on transfer routes.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

A. Education and Experience

Education: None required.
Experience: No prior work experience required.
B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Legally eligible to work in Canada.
Hold a current DZ or Class 3 license or higher with an air-brake endorsement.
Acceptable driving record required.
