Position Title: DZ Driver – Scholarship Opportunities

Team and Location: Sparlings Propane| St.George, Ontario

Position Summary: The DZ Driver operates a bulk fuel delivery truck to load and unload fuel or propane to Residential and Commercial customers in the community.  They are responsible for the safe, proper and efficient completion of tasks and operation of their vehicle, within Company policy while providing exceptional customer service.  Performing all job functions in a safe manner, including using PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and reporting any unsafe acts when identified will be the hallmark of success in this role.

Parkland now offers a DZ Driver Graduate Program to people in the community looking to advance their career with a DZ license.  Applicants must meet the criteria listed in this add, and upon successful completion of our recruitment process, we will assign you to a local school to complete your DZ certification before beginning your career with Parkland.  To apply for this program simply apply to this job posting!

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver our products safely and professionally with exceptional customer service.
Load and deliver propane or fuel while following Parkland’s Safety standards.
Operate the bulk delivery truck according to company policies and provincial laws.
Ensure your electronic and daily trip logs are up to date and submitted daily.
Maintain up to date understanding of TDG, WHMIS, and company required training.
Work together as part of the Operations team to ensure goals are met or exceeded.
Qualifications and Skills:

Growth mindset and desire to learn new skillsets
Positive attitude and a strong focus on providing exception customer service
Team player with a willingness to take on other tasks when needed
Clean Drivers Abstract in Good Standing and Valid G License
Able to lift a minimum of 60 lbs frequently
Comfortable with the physical and outdoor nature of the job
Proven track record of safe driving practices
Candidates accepted into this program will have a 2 year commitment agreement
