Local AZ Shunting – afts/nights

Local Shunting

Family owned and operated transportation company is seeking experienced and reliable AZ drivers for shunting positions available in St Thomas. The positions available are 8 hour shifts (M-F and every other Saturday) with the potential for longer hours / extra weekend shifts if desired.

Position Description:

·        Safe and efficient movement of trailers in and out of dock doors, within and between facility buildings

·        Maintain routine communication with dispatch/lead hand regarding the placement of trailers both in doors and in the yard

·        Daily inspection of truck

·        Monitor truck condition and communicate with regional manager when repair(s) required

·        Following safe operating procedures at all times

·        Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

·        Valid AZ license

·        Clean driving abstract and CVOR
