AZ Driver / Equipment Operator

$21 – $25 per hour

Schlegel Poultry Compost is a progressive, family-owned organization who have been producing high-quality turkey litter compost since 1996. We have an exciting opportunity for a Permanent, Full-Time AZ Driver / Equipment Operator.

As our new Driver, you will:

• Drive to various Schlegel Poultry farms to pick up turkey litter for composting
• Deliver finished compost products to customers in Southern Ontario
• Load and unload materials
• Participate in the production of high-quality compost
• Operate other equipment: loaders, tractors, blenders, etc. as required
• Perform general labour duties as required
• Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs

The successful candidate will be someone who is:

• Hardworking
• Hands On
• Mechanically inclined
• Willing to learn, continuously improve and innovate
• AZ licenced and able to provide a clean abstract.
• Capable to operate farm equipment
• Previous farm experience considered an asset
