Delivery Driver – G Class

ice-ASAP Canada, Inc proudly serves the Greater Toronto Area. We pride ourselves as Toronto’s best distributor of packaged ice, dry ice, ice machines, and cocktail ice – how cool is that?

We are looking for a G – Class delivery driver for our fast-paced, high service distribution company. In this key role, you will be responsible for a large volume of local timed deliveries and pickups. Candidates must possess and practice safe driving skills while maintaining delivery obligations and efficiencies.

Hours
40 hours per weeks (4 x 10 hour shifts). Thursday to Sunday
Variable Start Times: Starting between 10 AM – 12 PM and finishing between 8pm and 10pm

Compensation
$23.00 – $25.00/ Hour to start

Qualifications
Candidates must be at least 25 years old
Be punctual and professional
Minimum 3 years experience with a G license
Able to provide a letter of insurance (either from personal insurance or from a previous employer) noting you were named insured under policy for at least 3-years
Excellent customer service/ communication skills
Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
Critical thinker
Able to lift up to 60 KG

Responsibilities
Maintain Excellent Customer Service
MTO Schedule 1 & Company circle checks
Practice Safe Driving
Efficient & accurate deliveries (including hand bombing)
Merchandise/Distribute product as per the clients specifications
Accurate invoicing and cash collection
Maintaining an organized and secure load

Education
Degree in transportation or related industry experience is a benefit
