Provincial Road Markings Inc. provides pavement markings to various municipalities, cities, towns and regions and is seeking a Line Painting Technician to assist our Line Painting Crews. This position requires travel.

On the job:
· Operate pavement marking equipment including (but not limited to): Walk-behind paint applicators, hand paint applicators, etc.
· Operate paint equipment controls
· Maintain, clean, and inspect equipment
· Load and unload materials
· Use controls and toggle switches repetitively during workday in order to create paint line
· Ensure sufficient quantities of material for each job before starting
· Maintain constant communication with the crew
*Daily tasks and assignments may change at the discretion of management
Skills and Competencies:
· Previous construction or farming experience is considered an asset
· Fluent in English
· Keen attention to detail
· Safety orientated
Working Conditions:
· This position is outdoor roadway construction
· Out of town travel is required (may be away from home for up to 2-3 weeks at a time depending on where the jobs are located)
· Schedule: long hours, nights, and weekends
· Office/shop is not on a bus route
Qualifications:
· Valid G license and clean abstract
