AZ/DZ Local Driver / Mover (Guaranteed Hours for Well-Qualified Applicants)

Sheffield Moving and Storage has an immediate need for movers who hold a D class license or higher to join our London team. Successful applicants will be responsible for operating a D or A class truck (depending on license) while performing household moves and deliveries throughout London and surrounding areas. This is a great job for you if you enjoy a varied and physical job in addition to driving truck. Excellent opportunities to earn gratuities on top of your regular pay.

***** Overtime paid after 9 hours per day

***** Signing bonus and/or guaranteed hours for experienced movers (contract commitment required)

***** Competitive wages (typical annual incomes $45-65k)

Duties include but are not limited to:

Operate straight truck and/or tractor trailer (depending on license)
Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
Inventorying of household goods
Wrap good for safe and protective transportation
Pack and unpack goods
Sort and stack goods
Maintain and organize inventories and paperwork
Deal with customers in a polite and courteous manor
Light warehousing
Heavy lifting up to 100lbs – team lifting on anything over 50lbs

Paid training
